Introduction to the establishment of the Department
This Department specializes in teaching community health nursing, epidemiology, nursing management, and topics in health care, politics, economics, and medical sociology in the fourth stage of the four academic levels.
Department objectives
The branch aims to introduce students to all preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects to preserve the health of the individual, family and society as a whole. Students are also introduced to various infectious and communicable diseases in society and all basic health services. Students also learn methods and techniques of primary health care.
This is in addition to enabling students to understand topics related to nursing administration and topics in health care, politics, economics and medical sociology.

The faculty members in the branch provide scientific and advisory services in the scientific curricula and implement the programs of the Ministry of Health.
Department activities in conferences and seminars:
The branch participates in scientific conferences held by the college and in conferences held by the Ministry of Health, as well as civil society institutions, and seminars and discussion panels on the development of the health reality of the community.
